Child & Youth Service Worker

As the Child & Youth Service Worker:

• You will walk alongside children and youth to collaboratively develop plans to improve their overall well-being that promote stability.
• You will work closely with First Nations Designate Persons/Band Representatives to uphold the rights of First Nations children and youth are honoured, respected and adhered to.
• You will connect young people with the community resources and support services – both internal and external – they need and deserve.
• You will attend Circles, court hearings and/or other meetings as applicable to advocate for the needs of the children and youth you are supporting.
• You will document the good work you do with families in a transparent and concise manner.
• You will complete mandatory Indigenous Authorization Training.
