Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an Indigenous Relations expert to lead and manage the Discipline team for Eastern Canada. The successful candidate with drive growth in our Indigenous Relations and Stakeholder Management Discipline Area as a business leader and continue to support the development of the Discipline team to execute the work. You will develop guidance, playbooks, SOPs, internal training, and work to identify internal operational improvements in support of Stakeholder Management and Indigenous Relations in coordination with other Mobility Discipline teams and across other global business areas. This role will also manage resourcing and project allocations within the Stakeholder Management and Indigenous Relations team in collaboration with Mobility senior leadership.
Role accountabilities:
In this role, you will develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholder groups and Indigenous Nations, both as partners on projects with public sector clients and as direct clients where applicable. You will create a business development strategy to build and sustain these relationships, incorporating strategic initiatives across Canada. By contributing to internal and external communications, identifying high-profile events and conferences to attend, participating in community outreach initiatives, and supporting brand growth, you will help establish Arcadis as a consultant of choice for key and emerging clients.
You will provide guidance, technical support, and oversight to Mobility and other GBA project teams on proposals and projects with stakeholder management and Indigenous relations needs. By assisting with project delivery, you will foster collaboration, communication, and positive external branding. Additionally, you will lead by example to promote an inclusive and safe work environment, prioritize sustainability in all activities, and uphold Arcadis’ strong health and safety culture.
