INDIGENOUS SUPPORT WORKER

ISW work is a great way to make a meaningful difference in lives of students throughout the district.

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Up to one academic year of coursework related to Child Youth Care or equivalent training and experience

  • Job related experience working with children and youth for greater than 12 months

  • An understanding of indigenous culture

  • A good understanding of behaviour management techniques

  • Willingness to obtain a Food Safe Certificate, once hired

  • Physically capable of performing the job duties

This is a unionized position with a pay rate as of July 1, 2024 of $34.22 per hour.
