The Digital Marketing Manager works in a team to develop and implement various digital channels and campaigns, including the nwtel.ca website, email marketing, digital advertising and social media. This position works as part of a marketing and communications team to engage northerners and support customer and business growth targets. 
The Marketing Manager will lead the development, implementation and analysis of end-of-end customer journeys and digital marketing campaigns that engage prospective and current customers for Northwestel products and services. They will also work to support key brand initiatives across multiple digital channels.
This position will work cross-functionally with partners throughout the organization including: Product Management, Marketing Communications, and Sales/Support Channels. The Marketing Manager will be passionate about learning, trying new things, and delivering against results. They will possess strong interpersonal, analytical, strategic thinking and tactical skills.

 Specific Accountabilities

  • Campaign Ideation: Interpret marketing and customer data to identify opportunities to grow Northwestel product market share
  • Actively contribute to the overall content marketing planning cycle and projects
  • Create compelling and strategic marketing presentations to drive buy-in and alignment across key campaign stakeholders Campaign Execution: including use of SEM/SEO, work cross-functionally with Offer and Pricing, Customer Intelligence,
  • Work collaboratively to bring engaging digital-first campaigns to life
  • Campaign Analysis: weekly, ad hoc and post mortem campaign results analysis using digital analytics tools
  • In-Market Analysis: site visits(or equivalent) to the various channels to monitor program implementation

 Knowledge and Skills Required

  • This position requires a relevant degree (such as marketing, commerce, design or web Development) combined with a minimum of three years experience on a digital-first team.
  • Experience in working in a primarily a digital marketing channel environment.
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to quantify and analyze customer data and financial results.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, the ability to build and foster teams and deliver against a common objective.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal.
  • Strong sense of autonomy and initiative.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Keen interest in communications technology (including Internet and Video), and the flexibility to respond to rapid changes in the market.
  • Advanced skills in content management systems like Drupal, Email Marketing platforms like MS Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge in Google Analytics, SEMrush and other similar digital marketing analytical tools.
