Short Description

  • Based at Keswick
  • Full Time – 76 hours per fortnight
  • RN Level 1 $33.46 to $44.64 per hour (plus the ability to salary Package)

The opportunity

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses who have a passion to provide Paediatric Care to join our Keswick Team. The Registered Nurse will act as an advocate for clients and their family and offers the opportunity to work in the community supporting a variety of clients in their home. You will be reporting into the Case Coordinator as well as being well supported by the Paediatrics Clinical Practice Consultant. The idea candidate would work a variety of shifts between the hours of 07:00am and 10.30pm, Monday to Sunday (some flexibility to support our general nursing team as needed)

Key Responsibilities

  • Paediatrics diabetes management
  • Post-acute, chronic care, and palliative care management
  • Post-acute hydration and respiratory assessments
  • CVAD management and medication administration vis PICCs, Ports and CVCs
  • Asthma education and management

About you

  • Nursing qualifications and current APHRA Registration
  • Minimum 2 years post graduate clinical experience
  • Well-developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment
  • Acute clinical skills including CVAD management, cannulation and catheterisation or willingness to upskill
  • Full Australian Driver Licence
  • Experience working with children

 

Based on Silver Chain Group Policy and Government Directions, you will be required to provide evidence of vaccination against COVID-19, or evidence of a medical exemption in order to commence employment with Silver Chain.
