The Ottawa Catholic School Board invites applications from candidates interested in being considered for the International and Indigenous Languages (Elementary) Program Continuing Education instructor positions and supply instructor positions, which are available during the summer program.
The summer program runs from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, July 2 to August 1, 2025. Classes will be offered in-person.
Locations and Languages:
Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Must have knowledge of and fluency of the language (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing);
Knowledgeable about the culture, history and traditions and be able to integrate them into classroom activities appropriate to the age group;
Comfortable teaching online, in a classroom or a combination of both methods. OCSB will provide some training, support and mentoring.
In addition, the following will be considered an asset:
Previous experience working with children and/or youth;
Good computer skills (Google Apps, Microsoft Office).
