About the Role:
We are seeking a highly connected and experienced Business Development
Consultant with deep industry knowledge and a strong network within
the Canadian mining sector. This individual will play a critical role in
helping our organization expand its presence, build strategic relationships,
and secure opportunities in the Canadian mining market.
Leverage existing relationships and networks within the
Canadian mining industry to identify and create new business
opportunities.
Facilitate introductions to key decision-makers at mining
companies, government agencies, and relevant stakeholders.
Provide strategic guidance on market entry, partnership
development, and industry positioning.
Support the development of proposals, presentations, and
pitches tailored to mining clients.
Advise on industry trends, regulatory landscape, and regional
nuances to ensure successful market engagement.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and
meetings where appropriate.
Required
Proven experience and connections in the Canadian mining
industry – ideally with a background in business development, consulting,
or senior leadership roles.
Strong network of relationships with mining companies,
suppliers, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
Deep understanding of the mining value chain, from exploration
and development to production and environmental compliance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder
engagement skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on
high-impact opportunities.
Self-starter with the flexibility to work independently and
adapt to changing priorities.
Experience working with international companies entering the
Canadian market.
Familiarity with ESG trends, indigenous engagement, and
permitting processes in the mining sector.
Specific knowledge on filtration and purification processes for
mineral extraction
Contract Type & Compensation:
This is a flexible, contract-based consulting role. Compensation will be
competitive and commensurate with experience, including potential
performance-based incentives.
